Hiya! My partner and I are trying to go to Munich for their Christmas Market (thanks to those who made suggestions!). We're looking at flying Aer Lingus from London Gatwick, but the cheapest flight leaves at 6:02am, which (you may have guessed) is really early... I was just wondering if anyone has flown Aer Lingus before, and how early we should be at the airport? We're living at Sheffield so I'm just trying to sort out logistics and whether or not we should go in the night before or if its even worth it if we have to be at the Airport at 4am... For reference the Aer Lingus suggets that UK to Continental Europe flights should check in 2.5h beforehand but their check in desks only open 2.5h beforehand... would an hour and a quarter be enough time if we checked-in online? |

Adult bus tickets on a student card
I have an Opus student card that expired last month that I cannot renew cause I'm too old now. I know I need to go and buy myself an Opus card so I can actually get a weekly pass next week, but I also know there were some bus tickets on the old Opus card (adult tickets)... Does anyone know if these are still accessible to me, or have they vanished into the ether of the STM's pockets? Do I just use them like I would normally use my pass for the next few days, until they run out, or can the the STM put them on my new adult OPUS card? I didn't notice anything on the OPUS site, but then I'm so jetlagged today I wouldn't notice if my pants were on fire. Current Mood: tired |

Roma!
Hello! I'm moving to Rome and was wondering if anyone knew of any good real estate websites for housing? I'm not sure if I'm going to be buying or renting but since Italian is not my first language it's really difficult to find proper Italian real estate sites. Any ideas? Thanks! Current Mood: hot |

Composter agitated.
After stirring the contents of the composter a bit, I discovered some huge roaches running around the box. I'm kinda new to this compost thing. Is that normal? |

LINKS ZWO DREI VIER...! Happy Veterans Day!Jon, Diogo and I went to Teske's Germania for lunch [ CLICK HERE] today. It was superb! We are going back on Saturday night für die Festivus from 7:00 to 11:30pm. If I remember to, I'll be sure to take pictures. Eep, I'm excited; ich liebe deutsche Kultur, hehe! :D Today I also hung out with Craig and Sara and then went to meeting. Oh yeah, and since I haven't mentioned this in quite a long time, and since I've been so freakin' positive lately, I am 126 days sober today. That's unbelievable to me. Leben ist gut... Ye olde astrology website! http://paxmercurius.wordpress.com/Having made the decision to start working as an astrologer, I have put up a website! The blog features topical posts, updated every two or three days at this stage, as well as information on services that I offer. As an astrologer, I draw heavily on my spiritual background in Hermetic occulistism and Gnosticism, and in my training as a literature critic, teacher and counsellor. I am sure there will be the occasional bit of good-natured snarking at conspiracy theorists and New-Age nutters, too. At this stage, I am looking for a limited number of volunteers who would like free chart readings - this is for practise, as I feel myself to be at an 'apprentice' level in regards to my abilities. The rule is 'One Chart Per Person' - I would also like some ongoing contact with anyone who would like a full reading done, for feedback, discussion and confirmation on the interpretation of their charts. If you would like to participate, please email me with your name, details, chart data, any questions, and a contact (email or instant messenger, your preference). Natal charts, synastry or composite charts and electional (deciding on a date for particular events) charts are my main offerings at the moment. I would like some volunteers for forecasts, as this is the area I am currently studying. If you'd like a forecast, I'd be very grateful to draw up transits or horary for someone willing to commit to updates about whether or not they are accurate over the coming months. |

CACA questions
i just ROYALLY messed up my hair...bleached the top half...it didn't turn out right and can't do another bleach (my hair will NOT handle it), so i'm thinking i am just going to cover it. i want to stay away from chemicals, so, of course, i look to lush!! i'm thinking of trying one of the Cacas. probably Brun. will it be dark enough on bleached hair, or will i have to do it more than once? also, i'm looking for a DARK brown (on the cooler side, i don't want red brown, just a straight up dark brown), but not too close to black. should i just stick with the brun, or do i have to do a mixture? i need some serious caca knowledge! ty |

episode 12 - Unraveling Karma
After a few months off, it's out. In iTunes and at http://tdjacobs.com/blog. I answer a listener question about a life transition including work, and then take a look at Hillary Clinton's chart in terms of her karmic skipped steps, some heavy squares to her nodal axis. |

Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée
... also known as French Onion Soup. I've been making this for years, but kind of according to my own recipe, which was good. But tonight I took a look at Julia Child's, and I have to say she totally kicked my ass. I'm really not surprised though - the woman did write a few cookbooks, after all. I used to use red wine to fill out the broth. Julia's uses vermouth and brandy - a distinct improvement. However, it did mean that I was stuck with some "superfluous" red wine. On a Wednesday, no less! :) ( Recipe! ) See more at The Cast-Iron Darling! |
